In this series of lessons, we will take you on a tour, pre-requisite if you like, of what you need to do in order to embrace home ownership. The misconception of owning your own home has made it hard for some of you to even consider such an endeavor. Through the course of these mini lessons, we will try to guide you through the so called maze. Once we are done , you will understand that at the end of the day, it is really no big deal.

Home ownership starts with CREDIT. Yep, credit. Credit is actually a big subject, a LARGE subject full of myths and misconceptions. We could have a full 12 week course on this subject; this is how huge this is. And yet, a lot of people don’t even know their credit score. The first two lessons will be about your credit and your credit score. You will understand how it plays an important role in home ownership.

We will also go over some interesting facts about where to get money, places you probably did not know existed. We will also discuss, how without good credit you actually can own a home. Oh yes you can; have your own home without good credit, but let me be clear about it, sooner or later you will need decent credit, and there is a lot of ways you can go about it. I am saying while you work on getting your credit fixed, you can still have a place you can call home as you will eventually own it.

We will also cover how and where to shop for a house and what kind of deal you can look for.
